Old Quilt, Recent Photos
Last year I made my mom a quilt out of the Strawberry Lemonade line that was designed by Me and My Sister (for Moda). I finished it, boxed it up and shipped it off and then realized I had no photos of it. This last Spring I was up visiting her and took a moment to finally photograph my old friend. It really is like seeing an old friend again - after working so many hours on something and then sending it away for a long time. *sniff*
It's nice to know these little strawberries are being well taken care of. After seeing it again, I'm glad I used the pink checks for the binding, however I wish I would have cut the binding on the bias - but what's done is done!
Here's a link to the full line. For this quilt I just used a few charm packs and Kona cotton.

CUTE!!! Those diaper clutches are sooo great, I still don't have one, I would be willing to buy one if you would be willing to sell one.
ReplyDeletebeautiful. did you design it yourself?
ReplyDeleteThank you! I did design it myself. It was kind of a make-it-up-as-I-go thing.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love my strawberry quilt. Thank you Andy.
ReplyDeleteLoved this line - used it to make a crib quilt for my daughter when I was pregnant with her. Your quilt is gorgeous.
