Sorry about the silence – we’ve had a few busy weeks around here. My mom and sisters were all in town for awhile to surprise my youngest sister for her 30th birthday – it’s a thing we do. One of the (many) fun things we did that weekend was to go to Afternoon Tea at the Grand America Hotel in SLC. De-Lish-Us!
The Sweet Berries herbal tea and the Coconut Almond Hot Chocolate were the big favorites with our group. And everything from the dessert selection was amazing. My personal favorite was the little lemon raspberry tart (bottom plate, center). Even though everything was bite-sized, we still walked out of there stuffed!
Then this week I’ve been finishing up two custom order I-Spy quilts (I can’t wait to show them to you!) and writing a tutorial for the Riley Blake Cutting Corners College. This last Wednesday, this is what my afternoon consisted of: quilting, quilting and more quilting. When I’m quilting I have to have my Pandora and a cup full of pebbled ice. Time flies when I’m quilting to the Broadway show tunes playlist on Pandora!
Looks fun and busy.
