She’s all done!
It’s a 20” x 20” pillow and I love, love, love it. I made it for the pillow swap at the Salt Lake Modern Quilt Guild’s meeting last night and it was hard to let it go. I think I’ll make another one just for me because I thought it looked quite at home on my reading chair:
This photo shows more detail of the pillow. I talk more about how I made it in my last post so I won’t bore you again with that!
I went with a scrappy binding but that was just out of necessity – I didn’t have enough of the one print I wanted to use. In the end I loved the scrappy binding though.
I love how fast this project was. I find quick-finishes to be rejuvenating in a way. I definitely see more pillows in my future!
I'm linking up to Finish It Up Friday at Crazy Mom Quilts
I can't believe thatis all finished already! I just saw a photo of bits of fabric cut up and now you're done! It's beautiful and you should definitely make one for that chair. It's perfect near the curtains and bowl of pears you have.
ReplyDeleteIt's simply gorgeous! I couldn't let it go. It did look just perfect on your chair. Don't you love grey? I can't get enough....
