Hello friends
Today I'm sharing a sweet little crib sized version of the Plot Twist quilt pattern.
Plot Twist patterns (PDF and paper copies) available here
I sewed this one up using a pack of 10" squares from the Ally's Garden fabric line (Riley Blake Designs).
The quilt measures 38" x 51" but if you're needing something a little larger, the Plot Twist pattern includes five total sizes:
Crib 38" x 51"
Lap 51" x 63.5"
Throw 63.5" x 76"
Twin 76" x 89"
Queen 101" x 114"
And all five sizes include several fabric options - including 10" squares, fat eighths, fat quarters, or yardage (1/3 yard cuts) so this pattern is really versatile.
It also looks great in any fabric - from large scale prints all the way down to solids!
And don't be frightened off by these blocks - I assure you there are no Y-seams in this quilt. This pattern looks more complicated than it actually is.
The Ally's Garden fabric line was designed by Dani Mogstad for Riley Blake Designs and you can find some of the fabric here on etsy
For the backing I used a coordinating light blue solid fabric. The binding fabric is one of the navy blue prints from the Ally's Garden fabric line.
For the quilting I used a computerized edge-to-edge design called Fat Loops (designed by Julie Hurt and found here in her etsy shop).
You can find the Plot Twist patterns in my shop (both paper and PDF options available). Shops can order through Checker, EE Schenck, and Brewer.
