Edited to add 7/2/21: This quilt pattern is now available as an individual pattern called Clear Sky - find PDF (instant download) and paper copies here in my pattern shop.
Starry Eyed is a star sampler quilt, perfect for beginners wanting to learn new piecing skills, or for any quilter who loves star blocks (like me!)
This quilt is made of eight different star blocks, but don't let that intimidate you - if you can make half square triangles and flying geese, you're all set!
I started working on this quilt last November and December but wasn't able to share it until the issue was released recently. These spring colors are so perfect for this time of year!
The photo below is one that I snapped of the quilt before boxing it up and shipping it to the magazine. The finished quilt measures 59" x 81" which is a great large throw size.
For the fabrics I used this bundle of Kona cotton solids:
Cabbage, Honeydew, Sunflower, Maize, Melon, Dusty Peach, Periwinkle, Cloud, Candy Green, and Ice Frappe
(click on the color name above to find it on the Fat Quarter Shop*. You can also find all of the colors here on Fabric Bubb).

Issue #86 is now available, and if you're not a subscriber to Love Patchwork & Quilting you can get a copy here, or at JoAnn or Barnes & Noble.
